Just taking a couple photos last night... and realizing I'm totally a little kid at heart.

In continuing my learning in photoshop, last night I learned how to smooth skin. I know... the lip color is a bit much, but doesn't my skin look great? hehe

With this year's tax refund I treated myself to some new software for my personal computer... specifically photoshop cs4. Thank goodness for my university staff discount because there is no way on earth i'd have gotten it without that.

Anyway, so my goal is to teach myself new things now that I own a real version. This is the first image that I created using my new talents. Personally, I love it and I know the more I practice and work on it, the better I'll get at creating really cool stuff.

He's not really a poor kitty... he is, in fact, spoiled. He gets pretty much everything he wants... except for canned cat food in the morning. Ah... what a snot my Boo cat is.

I'm sorry... I have updated in forever and a day... I promise to sometime soon do better... really.

I was totally blown away by this band on Saturday night. They were flat out amazing. I'm always a major supporter of female fronted rock bands. I love Evanescence and local band Scarlet Haze, afterall. But, honestly, I Halestorm topped them all.

They were selling advances of their debut CD, so I got one of those. they were also doing autographs after the show as well, so of course I got the cd signed.

I'll definately be going to see them again the next time they're in the cities.
